Science Laboratory
Our well-equipped Science Lab enables student-teachers to enhance their instructional skills through hands-on experiments and demonstrations. The lab houses essential apparatus and materials for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Sciences, aligned with the secondary education curriculum. This facility empowers our students to gain practical experience in scientific teaching methodologies.
Computer Laboratory
The college boasts a modern Computer Lab featuring 40 computers interconnected via LAN, complemented by broadband internet access. Equipped with printers, scanners, and CD writers, the lab encourages students to integrate technology into their teaching practices. Multimedia presentations and internet research are integral components of our teacher training programs
Language Laboratory
Our Language Lab is dedicated to enhancing communication skills among pupil-teachers. Outfitted with MP3 players, a television, and voice recording facilities with feedback mechanisms, the lab provides an immersive environment for language acquisition and effective classroom communication techniques.
Fine Arts Room
The Fine Arts Room accommodates 50 to 60 students and serves as a creative hub for artistic expression. Here, students engage in activities such as chart and poster creation, flashcard development, and the preparation of various teaching aids. This space nurtures the integration of art into educational practices, fostering creativity in teaching methodologies.
Library
The library of VMS College of Education is a rich center of knowledge and learning, designed to support the academic and professional development of students and faculty members. The library houses a wide collection of books related to Educational Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Administration, Guidance & Counseling, Research Methodologies, and other educational subjects. To keep students updated with current academic trends and information, the library subscribes to various journals, magazines, and newspapers. With a comfortable seating capacity for approximately 150 readers, the library provides a peaceful and learner-friendly atmosphere for reading, study, and research activities.
The library also offers facilities such as reference services, bibliographic assistance, reprographic services, user education, and internet access to enhance the learning experience of students. In addition, the Book Bank Facility supports deserving and needy students by providing academic books throughout the session. The library aims to promote reading habits, research aptitude, self-learning, and academic excellence among students.
